The Assam Kaziranga University

Today, the Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) announced the results of the 2022 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations.

Six students from Guwahati are among the top ten rank holders this year.

The following are the rank holders:

i) Ashlesha Sarma from St Mary’s HS School, Guwahati (7th Rank) – Total Marks: 591

ii) Nisha Sarma from TC Govt Girls’ HS School, Guwahati (7th Rank) – Total Marks: 591

iii) Anasuya Thakuria from G.U. Model High School, Guwahati (9th Rank) – Total Marks: 589

iv) Saurav Barman from Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati, Guwahati (10th Rank) – Total Marks: 588

v) Mayank Agarwal from Nichols High School, Satribari, Guwahati (10th Rank) – Total Marks: 588

vi) Jurishma Chakravarty from Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Bongaon, Guwahati (10th Rank) – Total Marks: 588

A total of 4,05,582 students from around the state took the HSLC exams this year.

Of the 4,05,582 students that took the exam, 2,29,131 passed.

65,176 students secured first division, 99,854 students received second division, and 64,101 students received third division.

In the HSLC examination 2022, a total of 8,373 students received distinction marks and 14,047 students received star marks.

The exam has a 56.49 per cent pass rate, this year.
