Assam’s Nabajit Narzary wins and took home the trophy of Dance India Dance Li’l Masters Season 5 concluded on Sunday, along with the prize money of Rs 10 lakh.

The 9-year-old Nabajit, the winner of DID Little Masters, is well known for his freestyle, hip hop, and contemporary dance moves. He is from Changkhati in Assam’s Golaghat and has earned the admiration of all the captains as well as Sonali, Remo, and Mouni, the show’s judges. Nabajit is the son of Upen Narzary and Anu Narzary.

Nabajit won against finalists Sagar, Appun, Adhyashree, and Rishita, who were in the top 5, to emerge as the winner of the dance reality show. Apart from him, Assam’s Appun Pegu and Adhyashree Upadhaya have also emerged as first and second runner-ups, respectively.

Appun Pegu, age 8, of Subansiri in the Dhemaji district of Assam, was named the first runner-up, and Adhyashree Upadhyay, age 5, of Dhemaji was named the second runner-up. They each received a trophy, a cash award of Rs. 3 and Rs. 2 lakh, respectively.
