Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta on Tuesday announced that an Assam complex would be built in Maharasthra’s Raigarh district.
The complex will contribute to promoting the rich cultural heritage of Assam.
Health minister Mahanta announced this while addressing a press conference following the cabinet meeting.
Mahanta further said that the meeting had made several important decisions. Building a new bridge across the Brahmaputra, increasing state subsidies for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) housing, teacher recruitment, new medical colleges, improving river transportation, and renovating ITIs and polytechnics are a few highlights.
