A classical dancer and actor from Assam, Rajiv Rag appears in Amazon Prime’s popular web series Panchayat Season 2.
Rag shared the good news on Instagram, along with some images from the Item song in which he was featured.
Expressing his gratitude, Rajiv Rag wrote on Instagram, “The nationally published Amazon Prime’s famous web series Panchayat Season 2, I have got a chance to perform in the item song for your love and blessings.”
“Keep blessing me so that I can move forward,” added Rag with a folded hands emoji.
It is noteworthy that Assam musician Anurag Saikia has prepared the soundtrack of the web series.

Panchayat is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama web series created by The Viral Fever for the Amazon Prime Video.
The series scripted by Chandan Kumar, was directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, and features Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Biswapati Sarkar and Chandan Roy.
It chronicles the life of an engineering graduate who joins as a Panchayat secretary in a remote village Phulera of Uttar Pradesh due to a lack of better job options.
