A proud moment for the state as Tirthank Pegu from Jorhat created ripples by winning 2 Golds,2 silvers, and 1 bronze in the 48th Junior National Aquatic championship 2022 held at Odisha.
The young swimmer from Assam won 2 gold medals in Boys 200m butterfly and Boys 50m butterfly event, 2 silvers in Boys 200m freestyle and Boys 4x200m freestyle while a bronze in Boys 100m freestyle.

The brilliant performance of the young boy has brought laurels to the state by all standards.
