A R Rahman’s Concert for Peace has been scheduled for Saturday, February 1 and is expected to be the biggest musical event in the region.
The concert will be held at the Assam Cricket Association field, which is situated in the Sarusajai area of Guwahati. Pride East Entertainments Pvt Ltd and 91 Yards Club have sponsored the Concert for Peace.
Tickets may now be purchased online through Book My Show and Paytm Insider. According to reports, the cost of these tickets ranges from Rs 2000 to Rs 150000. Additional ticket prices for the event include Rs 3000, Rs 4000, Rs 5000, Rs 6000, Rs 10000, Rs 15000, and Rs 20000.
People who love music have indicated a desire to attend this event from all across the city. While local sports fans have voiced concerns about potential ground damage as a result of the event, Debajit Lon Saikia, the joint secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and a former secretary of the Assam Cricket Association, has stated that appropriate measures have been taken to prevent that.
There will likely be a full house for this event despite the stadium only holding 35000 people. According to the event organisers, appropriate measures have been made to control both traffic and crowd movement. A R Rahman will arrive in the city three days prior to the event.
