Popular Assamese singer Shankuraj Konwar is all set to lend his voice in Hindi Film Industry.
The Alakananda-famed singer has contributed some outstanding music in Assamese like ‘Kuhuka’, ‘Lorali’, ‘Ovotaar’, ‘Ki Bedonate’, ‘Joloprapat’, ‘Moupiya’, ‘Nakshatra’, etc; and now all set to step into the Hindi music industry, and Konwar stated that he will keep his fans updated about the same.
“Singers like Papon, Nilotpal Bora and Anurag Saikia have been truest forms of inspiration in life as I share my roots with them. They have been doing a fabulous job and I too aim to perform well in the mainstream music industry along with the regional work I’ve done so far,” said Konwar expressing his aspirations.
The singer also said that the struggles of an independent artist and the language barriers do not hinder his confidence because of his forever love for music.
