Recent days in Guwahati have seen consistently high temperatures between 35-37°C, causing concerns among locals who attribute it to factors like deforestation and global warming, making daily life challenging.

In a similar vein, Silchar also experienced a record-breaking September temperature of 39.4°C, surpassing the previous record of 39.2°C from 2005. These unusual temperature records highlight the region’s extreme weather patterns, urging residents to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions.
