In the tenth season of the dance reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Guwahati native Gunjan Sinha and her partner Tejas Verma won. The series’ season finale aired on November 27. A monetary award of Rs 20 lakh was given to the duo.
The youngest participant on the programme was eight-year-old Gunjan.
Due to their outstanding performance, Gunjan and her dance partner Tejas outperformed the other contenders.
“Big love to the judges for always giving me the valuable guidance I needed to up my dance game at various stages of the season. I am grateful that our team has fulfilled the dream of winning the most epic dance battle in India,” said Gunjan.
Noteworthy, on Colours TV in the year 2021, Gunjan took part in Season 3 of Dance Deewane.
