In a major announcement today, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma declared that every Bihu dancer who comes to World Record Bihu Performance will receive a sum of Rs 25,000 from the government. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to those who are involved in the traditional Bihu dance.
Under this scheme, a sum of Rs 25,000 will be directly deposited in the bank account of each dancer.
The government hopes that this financial assistance will encourage more people to continue practicing and preserving the traditional Bihu dance.
