A 12-year-old from Assam’s Bihaguri Kalitagaon made a heartwarming gesture by donating the money he received on his birthday to the CM Relief Fund for the victims of the latest catastrophe that has wreaked havoc on the state.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to share the touching gesture performed by the young boy named Pratim Hazarika, who gave his birthday gift of 2,000 rupees to the CM relief fund.
On his Twitter, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote: “Touched by the heart-warming gesture of 12-year-old Barnadhya Pratim Hazarika from Bihaguri Kalitagaon, who donated ₹2,000 he had received on his birthday to CM Relief Fund.”
“The child’s empathy for flood-hit people is exemplary. I wish him all success in life,” added Chief Minister Sarma.
