Ratan Tata was present at the major public rally in Dibrugarh on Thursday, alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi, and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The former Tata Group chairman while speaking at the event said, “I dedicate my last years to help make Assam a state that recognizes and is recognized by all.”
Ratan Tata said this while speaking at the event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated seven state-of-the-art cancer centres and lay the foundation stone for seven more.
The rally took place during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Dibrugarh, when he inaugurated seven cancer hospitals and laid the groundwork for another seven.
The Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a collaboration between the Assam government and Tata Trusts for the establishment of cancer care facilities in the state, is constructing the cancer hospitals.
